Posture Transformation Through RAD Private Ballet Classes


At Ballet Kukan Academy, we believe every dancer has amazing potential. Sometimes, that growth can be noticeable after just one private lesson. Recently, we had the joy of watching a dancer experience a dramatic change in her posture and alignment through focused one-on-one instruction using the internationally respected RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) ballet technique.


Before: A Common Challenge

Like many young dancers, our student came to class with enthusiasm but struggled with posture and alignment. We often see slightly rounded shoulders, hips not fully placed, and weight unevenly distributed through the feet. These common challenges can make it difficult for dancers to advance with confidence.


The Private Lesson Approach

In a private session, our instructors can slow down, isolate the problem, and apply the structured, methodical RAD technique that emphasizes precision, musicality, and safe body placement. This focused time allows for personalized corrections, targeted exercises, and feedback that isn’t always possible in a larger group setting.


After: A Visible Difference

After just one private lesson, the transformation was remarkable. Our dancer stood taller, with a lengthened spine, open shoulders, correctly aligned hips, and a newfound sense of balance. The improvement was clear not only to our instructor but also to our dancer herself. We love to see breakthrough moments that fuel our students' progress and confidence.


Private lessons often provide the extra space and attention dancers need to make real progress. Every dancer’s journey is different, but we love seeing those moments when something suddenly clicks. Celebrating these successes together is part of what makes our studio community so special.
