Tuition Due
Tuition for February (1/30-2/25)) is now due. Please make a payment by Saturday, 2/4, 2012 to avoid a late fee. $15.00 late fee will be charged to the payment from Monday, 2/6.
If there would be any absences during this period, please make up by Saturday, 3/3, 2012. You cannot carry make up portion after this date unless you have an arrangement.
Making up does not mean it has to be the same level. Lower level is always acceptable, and it is also always a very good review for the students. Upper level may be an option for some students as well. Please discuss with the teacher if you do not find any option.
Anatomy Month for young students
February
Ballet Kukan offers basic anatomy information in young students classes. Using the skeleton doll "Lazy Lindsey" will give the students visual understanding of the bone structure of human being. The explanation of how the back or joints move will make the students understand why they have to move certain way in ballet. Prevention towards of the risk of injury will be also explained that the students will visualize how they will have to take care of themselves in their physical activities.
We have never had any negative opinion or reaction from either the parents or the students towards this program, however, if there would be any issues that the parents would like to discuss, please come to Ms. Noriko before hand.

M&M and Adult Class on Thursdays are canceled
February & March
Mommy and Me class and Adult open class will be canceled on Thursdays due to the coaching towards RAD examinations. Thank you very much for your understanding, and both classes will be open again in April.
Recital Pictures and Parents week pictures
Guest Passes expire on 2/3!
Ballet Kukan Academy's 2011 recital "The Ugly Duckling" pictures and from The Parents Week (Summer 2011) are on Flickr now. The guest passes were sent to all the members and participants by email. If you have not looked them yet, please hurry!! The guest passes will expire on February 3rd. The picture order forms were also attached. Please print them out, and submit with your payment. Order due is also February 3rd. Please make your check payable to Ballet Kukan Academy.
